We do not accept the return of our candles or any other wickless product unless it is found defective. The simple fact that you did not like the scent or color will not constitute a refund. We will not give cash refunds under any circumstances but we will gladly replace the exact same item. Once we have tested the product from our end and the product is found to be defective, we will immediately send you a new one. We stand behind our products, value our customer’s satisfaction and we’ll make it right at our expense. If you are experiencing difficulty with burning your candles, please see our Questions page prior to contacting us. You’ll be amazed at what you didn’t know! Downhome Creek Candles, Soaps & Such will not assume responsibility for carelessness or misuse of our wax products, including but not limited to fires, furniture damage, spills, etc. (Be sure to read all warnings, cautions and use instructions prior to use!)

Bath and Body items and Soaps are non-returnable! Unfortunately we cannot be aware of everyone’s specific skin allergies or reactions to certain types of products. ALL of our body products contain fragrance and/or some form of nut butter, unless specifically noted otherwise. Those with nut allergies should avoid our body products. If you have in the past had a reaction to any type of body product, please use a small amount in a selected area to see if any reaction occurs. We are certain a small area would be easier to control than your entire body. We do test our products on human skin only. Including persons with eczema, psoriasis and severely dry skin. However, should an irritation occur while using any of our body products please discontinue use immediately. Should the irritation persist please seek medical advice. Downhome Creek Candles, Soaps & Such will not assume responsibility for allergic reactions, medical expenses caused by misuse of our products, etc. As stated above, if you have any type of reaction DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY!
